The IT @ Networking Awards 2009
Healthcare IT Management is Proud Media Partner
The AWARD
The European Association of Healthcare IT Managers (HITM), as the pan-European interest representation of CIOs and Healthcare IT Managers and the European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM), as the world's largest interest representation of CEOs and Hospital Directors, organised the
IT @ NETWORKING AWARDS 2009 (IT @ 2009), held in Brussels from 29 - 30 October 2009.
The GOAL
Believing in the fundamental importance of the pan-European potential of IT pioneers, HITM and EAHM are committed to increasing their professional authority.
Through IT @ 2009 these pioneers received the recognition they deserve! Their stories will inspire others. The lessons they have learned and shared with the audience will help both
avoid mistakes and transform healthcare IT challenges into opportunities, into "Made-in-Europe" success stories.
This goal was achieved at IT @ 2009.

The INDEPENDENT ELECTRONIC VOTING
IT @ 2009 was based on the understanding that peers will make the wisest decisions in respect
to their own needs. As far as healthcare IT is concerned, the Associations consider it to be self-evident that key healthcare professionals and top managers in healthcare facilities will know what is the best solution for them. This was proven during the IT @ 2009.
To use familiar terminology for IT professionals, IT @ 2009 was built on the principles of best-of-breed and peer-to-peer networking.
An on-the-spot, one-person = one-vote electronic system was used to enable attending CEOs, CIOs, healthcare
IT managers and other disciplines in connection to IT to make their choices.
IT @ Networking Awards 2010
